Razer Launches DeathAdder V4 Pro Gaming Mouse With Several Design Updates
The legendary Razer DeathAdder series is getting a major update today: the company has introduced the DeathAdder V4 Pro gaming mouse, and among the major updates include upgraded wireless connectivity, along with the debut of optical switches on the scroll wheel, which Razer says are “purpose-built for esports.”

The DeathAdder V4 Pro introduces Razer’s new HyperSpeed Wireless Gen 2 for its wireless connectivity, offering 63% greater power efficiency and 37% lower latency over its predecessor; it also supports up to 150 hours of battery life at 1,000Hz polling rate (you can crank it up to 8,000Hz in both wired and wireless modes, with the latter done via a dedicated dongle).
The mouse switches see several upgrades, with the main switches now using Razer’s Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4, rated for up to 100 million clicks; the scroll wheel now uses an optical switch which the company claims is “more precise and durable than traditional mechanical scroll wheels.” Sensor is now upgraded to the Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen-2, which delivers up to 45,000 DPI, 900 IPS, and 85 G acceleration with 99.8% resolution accuracy.
Weighing 56 grams for the black model and 57 grams for the white version, the DeathAdder V4 Pro retains its signature ergonomic shape while incorporating refinements such as larger PTFE feet and redesigned side buttons (now split apart) to prevent misclicks.
The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro will be available in Malaysia at a suggested retail price of RM799 through local retail stores and its official online store.
